DELIVERY:

  • We will endeavour to despatch orders so that they are received by you within 2 to 7 days within the UK.

  • Items made to order or personalized by the supplier will take up to 21 days to be received by you within the UK.

  • We do not take responsibility for late or non-delivery due to factors outside our control.

  • All packages will require a signature on delivery.

  • If you are unable to sign for your package conveyed by Royal Mail it will be held at your local sorting office. The post office will hold your package for 7 days, after which time it will be returned to thegiftandtoyshop.co.uk. If a package has been returned to us, because delivery was not possible, the cost of re-sending the package will be the responsibility of the customer.

RETURNS

  • If you wish to return an item to us you may return it at your cost using Royal Mail recorded delivery, except for earrings, body jewellery, cosmetics which we are unable to accept for hygiene reasons or items that have been used. 

  • Notify us by email as soon as possible advising us of what is being returned and the reason for the return. Items received within 28 days of the date of despatch by us which are still in a saleable condition will be subject of a refund for the price of the item or an offer of an alternative.

  • Wrap the item securely, using the manufacturer’s original packaging where possible, and remember to enclose your despatch note.

  • Once we've received and checked the item to ensure that is has not been worn or damaged by the customer, we'll apply your refund or send your replacement. To discuss any of this, please ring us on: 01753 883043 

  • We do not accept responsibility for non received returned items and you should contact Royal Mail directly.

We take on-line security very seriously and use a registered secure site paypal .com for your payments. Our security measures are designed to ensure that all reasonable steps are taken to protect your personal information. However, the nature of the Internet means that an absolute guarantee of security cannot be offered, and you should be aware that there may be a small security risk in exceptional circumstances when disclosing information online. To protect the operation of our computer systems we monitor incoming and out going email.

We are committed to protecting your privacy and with complying with the Data Protection Act 1998.  When you register with thegiftandtoyshop.co.uk you will be asked to provide certain information so that we can process and despatch your order, notify you of your order status and inform you of special offers and promotions.

This information is used specifically for:  

  • Processing your orders by thegiftandtoyshop.co.uk or by its direct suppliers;

We will not share your information with other companies other than as shown above or any other company for marketing purposes. We are entitled to disclose your information if requested by the police, any other Regulatory or Government authority investigating suspected illegal activities.

What about cookies

Our online ordering system uses a cookie to record a unique reference on your computer.  This cookie, which is saved to your system, is only valid for a single visit and each new visit will result in a new cookie overwriting any previous generated on previous visits to our site. If your internet browser is set to reject cookies or if your network firewall won't allow them then unfortunately you will not be able to use our online store. In order that we can monitor and improve the site we may gather certain information about you when you use it, including details of your domain name and IP address, operating system, browser, version and the website that you visited prior to this site.
